I feel very flattery when some people commented that I am good at beautifying my girls' hair. In fact, I am certainly not so good at that. I love tying their hair as I want them to look neat and clean. Regardless we go out or we just stay at home, I always find time to make their hair. There are many thousands ways to make a girl's hair. I don't have a fix method how to do it. My creativity is very much depended on the time I avail.
I don't really have a lot of fancy ideas how to tie their hair. I actually use a lot of cute and lovely hair-ties on their hair.
The most popular style that I love to do is braid hair.
I made 6 braids and secured them with a hair-tie at the end of April's hair

Though myself keeping short hair style, I enjoy keeping my girls' hair long and doing their hair.
When I run out of time, I will use hair band to bring all their hair to the back. When they start to complain hot, I need to tie a pony tail for them. I heard that too much tying will destroy the hair quality. However, I have no choice. I can't stand them letting go their long hair and looking messy. I pretty sure that I may need to do this job less and less when they have grown up.

Feeling so guilty right now. I only do for them when they go school or for an outing. If at home, I hardly. Malas mommy...At home u will see them in unruly hair...
ReplyDeleteYou have different strength, Yee Ling.
DeleteI love my girls to have long, flowing hair but being a clean freak, I will freak out if I see food stuck to their hair and their long hair 'glued' to their neck and face with their sweat. So no choice, I have to keep their hair short... but I accessorize their hair (not #1 though as she hates girlish stuff on her hair) with hair accessories :D
ReplyDeleteI love little girl with long hairs but I'm really bad in decorating their hair. haha.....i'm lucky to have MIL to help me with XJ's hair. if I'm in charge, i will only tie up a pony tail. That's the best I could do. hahaha
ReplyDeleteDoing up the girls' hair is another way of bonding with them. You are good in grooming them :) I don't bother much about Chloe's hair so I just cut it short!
ReplyDeleteWell that's one thing good having daughters, can play with their long hairs~
ReplyDeleteI always love girls with long hairs especially when it is properly tie up. I never have short hair myself.
ReplyDeleteI used to keep long hair when I was still working. But now this "yellow face" si nai will just keep her hair short for easy maintenance.
ReplyDeleteI wish I can tied Hebe hair dy...Waiting....
ReplyDeleteof course as long as she look clean and neat, whatever way you tie her hair is not important at all, agree?? :p
ReplyDeleteI agree with you 100% la!
Deletehehe, maybe to save the trouble, can consider to cut her hair shorter, then no need to still worry about tying their hairs while in a rush, haha!! :D
ReplyDeletewow you're so patient. I just tie my girl's hair in a single poney tail all the time :)
ReplyDeleteAt at least now they don't complain much...
ReplyDeleteLater when they grow older... They want to have other style......
Lol
Ethan's hair oso I tak comb. Can't imagine if I have a daughter! haha..
ReplyDeleteHehe, I can get hair tying tips here but my girl still so little hair! :)
ReplyDeleteI prefer my girl's hair tied up, trying to keep the style as minimal as possible. Sometimes she would ask for sophisticated one and gets scolding from me - yeah, I'm a bad mommy when time doesn't permit.
ReplyDeleteHahahah, now you are getting me "jelos" of not having daughters to "beautify" on already........isn't it nice to make the girls look good?
ReplyDeleteCultivate a good habit of cleanliness and being tidy is a good, cos we they grow up,they will be liked most
Wait till you have a grand daughter, Eugene. Very soon.
DeleteOh, hair dressing gals is certainly fun!^^
ReplyDeleteI don't have the time to do fancy style like you! haha. Usually I'll just tie her hair up in a pony for school. If it's an outing then I'll just add a few clips here and there.
ReplyDeleteoh i really don't have the patience so I just use different kinds of hair clips and hair ties :) Are the hairbands ok? Won't slid off easily?
ReplyDeleteBarb, thanks for the hairbands again. It is just fine to bring all their hand to the back.
DeleteWhen our kids go to school, make sure they tie their hair yeah? Good luck in improving your skills to tie your girl's hair.
ReplyDeletetell you , my braids are very lousy, some fat and some thin ones. See? you are already better than me doing this!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lena for the support.
Deletelooks smart & lovely..
ReplyDeleteAm keeping on trimming my sweety's hair , so that she's not fussy with it in school..;)
