Final exam is just around the corner, which means all activities have to be freeze till the exam is over on 10 October. Perhaps, my kids are still allowed to have fun with lanterns and candles till this weekend, as it is the mooncake festival. After this, no more computer games, no more TV, no more outdoor activities until 10 October.
After the exam, I have some plans for them. I will let them resume their swimming course and craft work lessons. Next, I will register them in the express singing lessons, just to prepare them for the coming year singing competition.
Swimming and craft work are all they asked for in this coming year end holiday. The below picture is the latest batch of their clay crafts. I have given away some from the older batch to a few blogger friends as souvenir. I hope they like it.
If you are interested to know what they have done in their previous craft work lessons, here are the links
1.Assorted cupcakes and chocolates
2.School holiday activties

very impressive.. nice!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome..good work.
ReplyDeleteI am also freezing Ian's activities after Mooncake Festival too. So much to revise. No choice, gotta push him to the top class (streaming starts next year based on this year end result) as he has really mediocre teachers this year. I really hope those teachers in the top class are better.
ReplyDeleteNice clay craft they made. It look awesome.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful piece of art. I remember coloring some of this when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteand they really did all those clay crafts!! wow, looks very professional, don't even look like the work of kids at all.. i thought you bought them back from somewhere else actually..

Deletenext week is the final exam?? haiyoh, no more computer games, no more TV, no more outdoor activities at all ah?? how can?? that is like hell leh~~
ReplyDeletei don't think they need to do revision 24 hours a day lah.. i do think giving them a couple of hours doing some activities can help to reduce the stress they have, and could actually help them in better revision too..
Deletethe brain also need to rest after so much of memorizations mah.. unless they are "hugging the buddha's leg at the last minute" then no choice lah, hahaha~~ :p
Delete10 october, reminds me about the deadline i set for myself too, hahaha!! i must try to complete the draft for my thesis by then also.. see, i also like sitting for exam one, hahaha~~

Your eyes is very sharp, you only noticed the starfish, kakakaka!
DeleteYannie, April and May are so well behave and train up. I'm amazed with their clay craft, especially the keychain...Wish good luck to both of them in their exam.
ReplyDeleteYan not only are your kids good in studies, they are so good in craft, art, singing and etc. well done to them and kudos to you and your hubby too. i wish to learn from you :)
ReplyDeleteThey are awesome crafts!
ReplyDeleteHi Yan, excellent crafts. Your daughters are very talented.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week ahead, regards.
Very beautiful crafts! They will become smart thinker and planners in future. That was what Lee Kuan Yew told his cabinet ministers to have some creative and innovative mind so that they can plan well.
ReplyDeleteYou should be congratulated for being the best mummy in raising your kids.
ReplyDeleteI suspect that Starfish will be given to SP on his birthday! Just add misai and that is HIM! LOL
ReplyDeleteAll the pieces are vibrant and nice but I like the Angry Birds the best. They look so fierce and real.
ReplyDeleteHi Yan, wow! You sure got very talented, creative kids!
ReplyDeleteSometime ago I saw almost similar creations, more fruits and desserts but made from coloured candle wax.
And made by a very young girl of 12 too.
And she was selling them at a farmer's market here. From the way she smiles, I guess she was making money too.
Maybe your daughter too can make pocket money? Ha ha.
They are beautiful....love the biscuits especially, looks real.
You have fun, stay young.
Lee.
Very nice crafts. Yan, i am impressed that your daughters are so active in so many activities and yet they can cope so well. And being the parents, u all are also good in time management. Have to send and pick them up here and there. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThose clay crafts are nicely done! I'm sure my girl would love this artwork. Will try to scout around to enroll her for a class during this long holidays.
ReplyDeleteThe above were done by the girls? That is wonderful
ReplyDeleteDid they do the magnets for us or did you do for us?
DeleteI like the angry birds one...very colorful
DeleteThis craft project reminds me of my school time.
DeleteSome classmate are very creative. You know those tiles. They go and use the tiles and cut some cute paper and made pop-out art. sell to us.
Hey, maybe your girls can do this when their school have Hari Pameran or Sales day
Meow, magnet also they stick on the clay. I didn't help them at all.
