Today, April's exam is finally over, May's exam was over 2 days ago. They are allowed to watch TV, play games, read books, create crafts and do whatever they love from this evening onwards, because I have banned them from doing all these a month ago. I am so kiasu, I reckon.
My 8 years old, April enjoys drawing at her leisure. These 3 drawings were her latest masterpieces. I find it so cute, as she even wrote some scripts at each drawing.
Thus, this has become her first fairy tale.
I have finally found them a teacher, whom is going to teach them singing. The singing lesson starts next week, but I have yet to call their swimming coach.
Next two weeks, I have to be their makeup artist again, they both will take part in the year end concert at school.

ReplyDeleteYes Broccoli Ginger you are right, more relaxing months coming.
Deletegood work!!! they must be very well fill with activities for the school holidays ah.. :D
ReplyDeleteCynthia, these activities are only meant to be done during school holiday. After that, I will not continue those classes.
DeleteWow....i like her horse....so nice. And the story...simple and sweet.
ReplyDeleteI didn't look at her horse until you said it is nice. Thanks HL.
DeleteYeah I love her horse too, really cheerful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Vicky.
DeleteSo nice, the drawings!!! Hahahahahaha...the story is short and sweet and I must say that is definitely a fairy tale - lived happily ever after!
ReplyDeleteYou should go and read SK's fairy tale. Can die one.
DeleteNice drawings and it comes with a story too, nice! Today is the last day of exam and the kitchen is closed for dinner... Yaba... Yaba.... Doooooooo.....
ReplyDeleteWai Mann, go celebrate tonight with Ian. Have a nice weekend.
DeleteOooh~ Your daughter is moving a step further from mine - Prince Charming, Love, Marriage and happily ever after~
ReplyDeleteMine still stuck with "I love my family" theme :)
Deleteyalor, maybe watching too much TVB with mommy already.. all the 情情塔塔 things also she knows.. 一見鐘情, 二結夫妻, 三更半夜~~ you continue yourself :D
DeleteShe watched too much Adventure Times, mostly about prince and princess one. I watch TVB drama only when they are asleep.
Deletethen it become Yan's dream to become Grandmother and baby sit her grandchildren..
DeleteThis shows that April is growing up and her imagination grows along.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wish my kids would grow up slowly and remain innocent and naive~
*I don't want mine to "love this boy", "like that boy" so soon, uaaaahhhh..... *
Ya lor, I also find her growing up too soon. Start to imagine those fairy tale and happy ending story.
Deletelol .. kids are growing and learn very fast..
DeleteShe has potential to become an artist / comic writer :)
ReplyDeleteJust explore her to the website SK's recommended us - Comic Strip.
But of course, nothing beats her own drawing the best!
DeleteGuide her to use bubble talk when Prince and Princess chat, hehehe~ The sentence is for narration only.
oh the bubble is a good idea.. that would make value-add the whole picture.. hahaha!! can also teach her to use ComicStrip lah, but then later she won't draw anymore, kekekeke~~
Deletecannot lah, ComicStrip is for old and lazy people like us.. kids better get them to draw out of their hearts~~ :)
DeleteBubble talk is definitely a good idea. I will tell her next time seeing her drawing.
Delete...sweet.....
ReplyDeleteJust shows she is growing up. I an few years will be pretty lady
Deletewhy no color in the picture geh?
Deleteyalor, should color the picture, then will be a perfect fairy tales already..
DeleteShe has no time to colour them. Mummy always rushes her to do more value added things, like doing work books and playing piano.
DeleteGood job! So sweet too. Girls are really lovely!
ReplyDeleteShe is very sweet and gentle. Unlike her mom :)
Deleteoh she can draw and write so well. good job April :)
ReplyDeleteBoleh la! Barb. Thanks.
Deletewah, very terror lah Mak Yannie!! one whole month no TV no drawing no crafts no games no story books!! i will get crazy lor like that..
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteSure cannot survive one! ;p
Not really no TV. I let them watch if they have finished their revision. Just half an hour a day.
Deleteeih, i like the drawing, very nice!! and somemore she came out with a story.. the story a lot better than my version of "fairy tales" if you remember, hahaha~~
ReplyDeletelol! I remember that, very classic one. Two boys, very naughty then the next die in the morning. Not fairy tale la! It is a horror story.
Deleteactually you know what Uncle SK likes most?? the horse, haha, so cute and with every details all nicely drawn..
ReplyDeleteShe told me that she wants to be comic writer in future. Thanks for the like, SK.
Deleteshould have encourage April to complete the whole tale by giving them nice colors.. then can pin on the fridge already..
ReplyDeleteI will tell her Uncle SK's suggestion. Thanks.
Deletewow, school holidays still need to learn this and learn that.. cannot just laze at home meh? haha, i was like that last time, i also wonder how i passed my days during school holidays by just staying at home..
ReplyDeleteLaze at home will make them a lazy bum, i don't like them gluing to TV and computer all the time. So, I must get them learning something useful.
DeleteWah! SO nice. A budding artist and writer! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like they are going to have a fruitful and packed school holiday. :)
lina, mummy is kiasu la! What to do.
DeleteMy son loves to do these kind of story too.
ReplyDeleteOf couse sebab boy, his is usually consisted of Ben-10, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider and lately Jack & Finn. ^^
Boy being boy, should be like Raimie. By the way, we don't manage to watch that movie. It has stopped screening.
DeleteSo fast kah? Why? Not good response ke?
DeleteOne cinema with too many movies, that's the problem.
DeleteHer drawings are really lovely! Wow! They go for so many classes. Luckily you said that you did let them watch half an hour of tv after they finished their revision. Otherwise, you sound like 'tiger' mum hehe. You know, my mum used to do that to me and I used to resent that. It makes me more rebellious. So just be careful ya..:)
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, thanks for kind thoughts. I always justify their play and study time.
Deleteit is true that girls are always dream about prince charming.. and then live happily ever after.. ahem ahem ahem..
ReplyDeleteWatch too much Barbie DVD and those Disney Princesses stories.
Deletehmmm I don't remember I have any fairy tale stories ... hmm maybe that time I do watch a lot of transformer cartoons and so on..
ReplyDeleteI remembered I drew many Hamsap and pornographic sketches which attracted my school friends. They were shocked and dumbed but now I realized that I matured earlier than them all.
DeleteTM is really a joker who I wish to meet . SP, you too.
DeleteWahhh..your girls are so talented.
ReplyDeleteBoleh la, Yee Ling. I think my girls are more talented than me.
DeleteYour art classes are paying off, April draws very well and is such a happy child. Love the 1st pic, the place looks so beautiful
ReplyDeleteIt is always great to have you drop by, thanks for your compliment.
DeleteYea, exam's over! They must be very happy! I think you also less stress now ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, no more stress. Just enjoy and have fun everyday.
DeleteSo planning to go anywhere to celebrate? Since the school long holiday is coming soon!
ReplyDeleteMay go KL in November for shopping.
DeleteApril's drawing is very beautiful and neat.
ReplyDeleteYeah, finally my girl finished off her exam today. However, I am not that strict like you during exam weeks. I really salute you for so well-discipline your girls.
She loves drawing a lot. Shenny is a very good girl too.
DeleteGood drawings and I could tell at once that she has a happy family with loving parents!! How sweet! I have seen horrible drawings where the father held a parang in the hand. The child said the father was violent!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the analysis of my girl's drawing. She indeed a happy child.
DeleteThe word Erie struck my eyes!! I wonder where she found that word as Erie is a small town in North West Of Pennsylvania where I took my happiest days photo with a light house behind me. That lake is named Lake Erie too. Maybe I am Prince Erie.
ReplyDeletelol! Prince Erie, not Tan Sri, not Oppa already.
DeleteShe can draw and write very well, good job!!
ReplyDeleteawwwww and look at her English it is perfect!
ReplyDeleteYour 2 princesses are really talented and you're helping them to develop their talents more :) Kudos to the hot mommy!
Wow! Terrer la~!
